Outdoor Woodland Wedding with a Wes Anderson theme

There’s nothing like reserving an entire campground for a outdoor wedding weekend getaway in the woodlands of Southern California for all your closest friends and family to help you tie the knot. And that’s exactly what S+R did for their Wes Anderson-inspired Fall wedding.

Log cabins, majestic California trees, dirt paths, s’mores and lots of dancing created an idyllic setting that their friends and family would remember forever. Chamomile, mums, black-eyed susans, and tulips in whimsical yellows and reds paired with textural grasses, ferns and greenery in brass compotes for an organic and freshly gathered look. Tablescapes were adorned with lush centerpieces, felt pennants for table numbers, cherry red lanterns, and beautiful brass candlesticks. Most of the woodwork including the larger-than-life ceremony arch and signage was made by family. The styling and Wes Anderson-inspired details were designed by the Bride herself.

The Bride recounts, “My favorite part of the entire wedding was walking down and seeing [him] smiling with that gorgeous arch in the background!” which is understandable when the background is the entire Angeles forest.
