Modern Colorful PartySlate Dinner Party at Kimpton La Peer Hotel

Do you do work that matters? Like really matters. “Inspired events inspire people” is a magical mantra in the event industry. It rings even truer when a planner approaches you with the design theme: Diversity & Inclusion.

We love telling stories here at Rosewater, but this was definitely not your average design theme. Given a simple mood board of bold colors and different shapes (Yes, shapes. Think triangle, circle, hexagon, squiggle), our team decided to empower our theme by showcasing the beauty in differences. By contrasting bold colors and varying textures side by side, we could tell the story that there is harmony and balance in embracing differences. Chartreuse oval seeds pods of Tree of Heaven sat in the same vase as the tendrils of textured sienna Amaranthus. Purple heart plant (usually reserved for planting beds) shared the same vase as round ball sherbert-colored Dahlias. Narrow rectangular vases gradated from white to gray to black. Progressive, bold and different looked elegant, warm, and beautiful on long stark white tables for an intimate industry dinner at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood for premium PartySlate members including Mindy Weiss, David Pressman, Paulina Parry, Eddie Zaratsian, and PartySlate CEO and co-founder Julie Roth Novack.
